Albert Chang

Business experience
Albert is a 23-year veteran of the financial markets.  Specializing in options and derivatives, he has traded foreign exchange, fixed income, interest rates, commodities, and select equities through a number of financial crises and interest rate cycles.  On the sell side, Albert has held senior roles at banks such as CIBC, Standard Chartered, and American Express, where he served as Global Head of Options.  On the buy side, he has held senior proprietary trading and portfolio management roles at firms such as Southfield and LaBranche.  In addition to his broad trading experience, he is also well versed in the creation of structured products and the development of trading systems. Albert is currently the partner in charge of Trading and Research & Development at Richmond Lawrence Management LLC.

Training history
Albert has been teaching for the past three years at both sell-side and buy-side institutions.  He delivers classroom and remote courses in financial products, risk, and investment management to a range of audiences, from graduates to senior business heads, and from front office to infrastructure.  Wherever possible, he takes a holistic approach that includes operational, regulatory/legal, and accounting/tax considerations, the interconnectedness of markets, and the need to understand a narrative.
