Tim Parr

Business experience

Over a 15 year period Tim has worked on both the buy-side and the sell-side of the financial markets. His experience has come from a variety of different roles, including product development at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth, credit analysis in a UK corporate bond investment team at Canada Life, and as a VP within Finance in Global Credit Trading and EM Debt at Deutsche Bank through the credit and sovereign debt crises.

Training history

Tim has been training capital markets and finance courses in Europe, Asia and North America since 2012.  His areas of expertise include Fixed Income products, Derivatives and Economics within both Investment Banking Sales and Trading and Investment Management contexts.

Tim has experience of training a wide range of audiences, from new hires to experienced staff. His client portfolio is extensive providing tailored learning programmes for Tier 1 investment banks (UBS, Citi, Credit Suisse, Nomura and DB etc) and high-profile asset managers in both the traditional and alternative asset management space globally, most recently in London, New York, Asia and across continental Europe.  Tim has been lead technical trainer on the UBS and Nomura global Sales & Trading graduate programmes, and the UK Fidelity asset management and BTMU corporate graduate programmes.
