This course provides a base in macroeconomic principles, central bank responsibilities and government economic policy.
GDP, inflation and unemployment are examined in turn as the principal economic indicators and their inter-relationship is evaluated. Fiscal and Government policy are investigated and learners are introduced to the role of central banks in financial stability and their operations concerning money supply and setting interest rates.
