This course covers the modelling techniques used in corporate finance.

Starting with Merger and Acquisition (M&A) modelling, the course provides a step by step analysis of the matrix model and the different assumptions. Leveraged Buyout (LBO) modelling follows a similar process; starting with a step-by-step analysis of the modelling approach and the factors that need to be considered to enable you to determine the return you can expect on your investment.

Finally, participants will consider the different capital structures, the main debt/ equity ratios used and the role of Private Equity.
