Building Resilience

Stress is a reality of modern life and can, in limited amounts, help us maximise our potential.

An overload of stress, however, can lead to fatigue, burnout, and impact our long-term physical and mental health. Using a range of tools and techniques, participants will learn how to keep their stress at an optimal level and balance pressure and performance.

This Building Resilience module is designed for anyone looking to successfully navigate the everyday stresses that they face, to understand the importance of building resilience, avoiding burnout, and to prepare to be flexible in the face of uncertainty.

  • Recognise that stress is an inevitable part of life.
  • Your own reactions, and learn that stress can be managed effectively, even positively with thought and planning.

  • Practice healthy, stress reducing habits.


  • Accept uncertainty and build a toolkit of responses to allow flexibility and adaptability.
  • Apply a range of tools to reduce stress and increase long-term resilience.
