Introduction to Accounting

This course provides a first step for participants to understand and interpret the financial accounts of an organisation. It introduces the concept of double entry bookkeeping and the accounting equation. It then examines the three key financial statements – the income statement, the balance sheet and the cash flow statement – and how they are related.
