This “Leading Others Through Change” course will help team leaders or project leaders to help support themselves and others through change.

By managing the personal challenges that we experience in adapting to change, you can support your team and organisation in achieving their strategic goals.

Course Content

Getting yourself on board

  • Importance of managing and supporting others through change
  • Managing your own reactions when you are not in charge of the change or have doubts

Getting others on board

  • Communicating the change to increase enthusiasm and adoption (What, Why, How, When, Who model)
  • Exploring and overcoming the challenges of communicating change

Supporting the crew (mini-case study to determine the stage)

  • Exploring the three stages of how people respond to change (Resistant Mutineers, Nervous Explorers, Enthusiastic Pioneers)
  • How to recognise in which stage the change recipient is in
  • How to support those in in different stages to drive them forward

Application of skills to personal case study

Consider a change that needs to be communicated to an individual or  team you are working with. How will you communicate that message?


Reflect on a group of individuals that you are leading through change. Observe their behaviours and consider their needs. What could you do to support their needs and drive them forward?
