Each day as you begin your most taxing and important task, get rid of all distractions. Hide your phone, shut down email, switch off notifications.

Recognise what activities allow you to truly rest. Whether its taking a walk, chatting to a friend or listening to music get into the habit of allowing yourself to fully recharge.

When you catch yourself task-switching (trying to do two things at once) pause, choose one task and set aside the other until later.
