Working Cross Culturally

  • Self-assessment of your style and those of your team


  • Managing the mindset of cultural differences
  • Using a selection of mini-case studies, determine how you would adapt to certain challenging situations

Select some upcoming business interactions. They could be via email, video-conference or face to face meetings. Take moment to describe what you see. What are the cultural differences at play. How could you appreciate these differences?


Consider one or two colleagues that culturally, operate in a different way to you. Describe those changes. How will you better adapt (mindset and actions) to those differences in your next interactions?


Reflect on some cross-cultural challenges within your team. What could you do to Appreciate, Analyse and Adapt to these differences. How could you assist other team members to do the same?
