Amanda Reay

Business experience
Amanda’s career in learning and development management, consultancy, HR business partnering and organisational development spans over 20 years. After a background managing British Council educational projects in Portugal and the Middle East, Amanda delivered skills and leadership development programmes for UK learning consultancies.
Based in USA and South America, she partnered with HR teams of global brands including McAfee, Prudential Insurance and Microsoft building successful relationships to ensure the design and delivery of appropriate learning solutions to support business goals.
Most recently, Amanda has gained a reputation for forging strong partnerships with varied client groups including AkzoNobel, ING Bank and Croydon Council, designing and delivering timely learning solutions for organisational change projects.

Professional qualifications
Amanda is currently completing her Chartered Membership of Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CMCIPD) leading to an MSc in Organisational Development.
Amanda is a Life Orientations (LiFO) practitioner and holds a Certificate in Employment Law.

Training history
With a background in education, Amanda has been involved in learning design and delivery since the start of her career. She has a strong interest in the analysis and design of interactive learner-centred learning solutions and materials giving participants the maximum opportunity to reflect on learning points and action plans for individual and team development.
Having delivered training globally, Amanda is familiar with the learning styles and needs of varied audiences, in particular the Middle East and USA, adapting training design, methods and approach accordingly.
