Digital Transformation, hearts & minds

Japanese investment bank

Client

Our client has invested in a large range of new digital tools across their workforce. This was supported by excellent eLearning “how-to” content, structured into pathways for different user-types (content creatives, process managers, team managers etc).

Client Objectives

Early adopters always adopt early, so the challenge was to get the other 90% engaged in how to do their old roles better with new tools. This meant our brief was part learning, part a battle for the hearts and minds.

Our Solution

Working with the Digital Transformation team, we designed a series of 15 webinars blending traditional skills with new digital ways of working. The 15 webinars were channelled across the different user-types to match the eLearning experience. Topics included:

  • Building a Digital First Culture
  • Leading Digital Projects: Lateral Leadership
  • Digital Tools for Smoother Process Optimization
  • And a series of webinars as an introductory AI Academy

Delivery was to staff in all countries, including Japan in Japanese.

Success for our Client

This year-long program was open enrollment webinars. So success can be seen in the ongoing popularity – thousands of webinar attendances across all geographies.

The effect can be seen in a substantial uptick in digital tool usage, as well as spikes in eLearning engagement for topics related to our webinars around the time of these live events.

Why Alpha?

Digital Transformation means more than teaching digital skills. We were able to bring together our Leadership, Project Management and Technology faculties to help our client democratize their digital beyond the early adopters and across all their people.

As well as the unique blend of content, Alpha was able to bring a global faculty to deliver across all time zones, including Japanese with direct experience of Digital Transformation.
